About Us

Hello! We’re Daria and Ryan, a husband-and-wife duo from Canada that run Planes, Plates, and Pairings. Travel is a big part of who we are as a couple and our journey together. When we first started speaking, luck would have it that Ryan was out in Ireland, and Daria was in Bermuda for work. Distance did not prevail, and after a long three months later, we met in person. Fast forward a few years later, and we got engaged in Iceland and married in Portugal. This was only the start of our journey, however, and as of April 2023, we decided to share our journey with you, capturing the beauty of the food, nature, architecture, and fine wine around us, a post/video at a time.
